✦ Gardenia ✦
Gardenia is based on an original historic camisole or corset cover popular around 1905.
You get the best of both worlds - historic design and modern practicality. You get a fully modernized version of the original pattern translated into the Stitchmaiden pattern standard. We added our Mix & Match system to give you variation, graded the sewing pattern into our sizing and wrote a detailed illustrated sewing instruction.
With only one bodice pattern piece, the Gardenia top is appropriate for beginner sewists and/or a last minute sewing session. Minimal sewing required, but maximal vintage flair!
MIX & MATCH VERSIONS
Combine as you like, to create a unique Gardenia matching your style best. We included 4 versions in the Sewing Instructions to teach you all required techniques.
Choose from 3 bodices, 4 waists, 2 necklines and 3 different sleeves.
✦ Bodice: basic bodice, lace insertion & bodice seam
✦ Waists: hem, waistband, straight peplum & curved peplum
✦ Neckline: laceband & tunnelband
✦ Sleeves: no sleeve, ruffle & short sleeve
